As part of our exceptional R&D team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end solutions, involving both our Backend and Frontend, as well as our automated DevOps infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Passion for problem solving, finding the most suitable solution to the problem at hand
  • Love for the field of FE development, mastering CSS as well as JS
  • At least 5 years development experience, BE and FE technologies
  • Proven experience and ability to design robust solutions across the board
  • Natural curiosity and ability to quickly learn and master new technologies
  • Java, Python and JS ES6 experience – Major advantage

Description

We are searching for a talented and creative Solution Architect to join our US team. As a Solution Architect you are expected to have deep knowledge of service provider networking. We expect you to become an expert on Sedona’s products so that you can craft compelling, valuable solutions. You will develop intimate familiarity with our product data, access and system requirements. You will be required to work with Sedona’s Sales Managers to create a messaging strategy for technical proposals based on your understanding of the type of network insights that can be derived from our products.

Responsibility:

  • Work closely with Sales team to analyze requirements and create the best solution.
  • Lead Pre-sales activities, including creating technical responses/proposals.
  • Own knowledge of Sedona’s solutions, abilities and domain.
  • Lead technical conversations with customers.
  • Manage technical solution proposals, statements of work, responses to requests for information.
  • Create technical presentation material that aligns with our messaging strategy.
  • Be an advocate for customers within the product organization.

Requirements:

  • Must have strong working knowledge of IP and Optical networking (SP experience preferred).
  • Python on a level that enables the creation and/or modification of basic reports.
  • Fluent in the Linux environment, ability to easily manage and edit files.
  • Must be proficient in: using vi, configuring IP Tables, SSH tunneling, Docker, Vagrant, Curl, Shell scripting, Crontab, process management.
  • Must be comfortable using SQL for queries.
  • Experience in applying software/automation solutions to networking problems is a major plus.
  • Must be a creative thinker!
  • Must feel comfortable in uncharted territory.

Sedona Systems, a leader and innovator in the field of multilayer network control, is looking for an accomplished AVP/Director of Sales to ensure achievement of the North America sales group’s goals.
The AVP/Director of Sales will have direct selling responsibility in Sedona’s largest key accounts, while managing sales plan and implementing key account strategies for assigned responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sell Sedona’s NetFusion SW platform to NA Service Providers both existing customers and new prospects.
  • Identify sales opportunities across multiple customer organizations (planning, engineering, operations, IT, BI etc…).
  • Support NA VP of Sales in building NA sales strategy.
  • Build and manage sales pipeline and provide regular updates to VP of Sales.
  • Prepare customer presentations, business cases and value-based pricing proposals.
  • Work closely with the customers and field sales support team to gain acceptance of delivered products.
  • Identify and capture upsell opportunities at existing customers.
  • Identify and help define new product opportunities for NA customers.
  • Negotiate customer contracts and manage all commercial aspects of customer engagements including long-term pricing/growth strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent communication and effective problem resolution between Sedona and customers.
  • Maintain relevant industry knowledge.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in sales, focusing on the NA Service Providers market. Prefer relationships at CTL, AT&T, Tier 1 MSO (e.g. Charter), T-Mobile, Tier 2 (Windstream, Frontier, etc…).
  • Good understanding of networking (optical and IP). SP IT systems knowledge beneficial.
  • Strong business development skillset with an emphasis on creating new solutions based on existing product capabilities.
  • Strong new customer prospecting ability.
  • Ability to successfully execute complex sales campaigns involving multiple customer organizations and stakeholders at multiple levels (executive level down to working level).
  • Connections with major vendors is an advantage (Cisco, Juniper, Ciena, Infinera, Ericsson, Nokia, etc..).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong negotiation skills, and client management skills.
  • Independent and able to work from home.
  • Extensive travel is required.

We expect you to become an expert on Sedona’s products so that you work with the customer to ensure that they get the most out of our industry leading solution set. You will develop intimate familiarity with our product data, access and system requirements. You will be required to work day to day with Sedona’s customers to demonstrate our product set to its best potential, provide knowledge sharing and on-the-job training to our customers. You will be required to maintain and ensure the solution is operating to customer needs. You will ensure that customer feedback and product needs are accurately communicated to our sales teams and development organization.

Responsibility:

  • Initially working closely with customer onsite (as well as supporting global customer workforce) to ensure Sedona’s products are exploited to their best potential within the deployment.
  • Extending for other customers within the UK and potentially abroad over time.
  • Be responsible for supporting installation and commissioning new solutions, s/w upgrades, configuration changes and rollout of new features within customer environment.
  • Maintain production environment to ensure availability of Sedona’s products.
  • Address trouble tickets where possible and funnel escalation requests to development organization.
  • Lead technical conversations with customers on current capabilities and potential enhancements / new features.
  • Identify potential opportunities for new features and functions with customer in partnership with sales teams.
  • Create technical presentation material that aligns with our messaging strategy.
  • Be an advocate for customers within the product organization.
  • Potentially support other deployments around the globe in a ‘follow the sun’ support model.
