Consulting Role

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Architect adapters for discovery of Ciena equipment into Sedona software model
  • Validate Sedona software model of Ciena equipment
  • Lead efforts to provision and configure Ciena equipment in automated SDN/NFV ecosystem
  • Discovery and topology
  • Proficient in use of Ciena Network design and modeling tools
  • Consult with potential and current customers on applications involving Ciena equipment
  • Provide product and technical expertise to support Sales of Sedona with regards to Ciena equipment

Job Skills & Requirements:

  • Detailed technical knowledge of Ciena fiber optic transmission systems (especially WDM, OTN, SONET, SDH, and packet)
  • Intimate knowledge of Ciena current and legacy equipment
  • Extensive experience with MCP, OneControl, and OnePlanner including export files
  • Understanding of Ciena network architectures, network management, and network deployments
  • Demonstrate working technical knowledge of WDM, Ethernet, FICON, Fibre Channel, SONET/SDH, SDN, NFV, IP/MPLS, and Virtual routing
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of TL1 parsing and management system exports for inventory, topology, and circuit discovery
Sales Solution Architect
Locations: USA.


We are searching for a talented and creative Solution Architect to join our US team. As a Solution Architect you are expected to have deep knowledge of service provider networking. We expect you to become an expert on Sedona’s products so that you can craft compelling, valuable solutions. You will develop intimate familiarity with our product data, access and system requirements. You will be required to work with Sedona’s Sales Managers to create a messaging strategy for technical proposals based on your understanding of the type of network insights that can be derived from our products.


  • Work closely with Sales team to analyze requirements and create the best solution.
  • Lead Pre-sales activities, including creating technical responses/proposals.
  • Own knowledge of Sedona’s solutions, abilities and domain.
  • Lead technical conversations with customers.
  • Manage technical solution proposals, statements of work, responses to requests for information.
  • Create technical presentation material that aligns with our messaging strategy.
  • Be an advocate for customers within the product organization.


  • Must have strong working knowledge of IP and Optical networking (SP experience preferred).
  • Python on a level that enables the creation and/or modification of basic reports.
  • Fluent in the Linux environment, ability to easily manage and edit files.
  • Must be proficient in: using vi, configuring IP Tables, SSH tunneling, Docker, Vagrant, Curl, Shell scripting, Crontab, process management.
  • Must be comfortable using SQL for queries.
  • Experience in applying software/automation solutions to networking problems is a major plus.
  • Must be a creative thinker!
  • Must feel comfortable in uncharted territory.
  • Excellent ability to communicate is absolutely essential.
  • Good project management skills.
Software Engineer​
Locations: Israel.
Sedona is looking for enthusiastic software developers, for the development of an innovative platform to manage Core Networks, the continent-spanning networks that form the basis of the internet. Candidates with strong programming skills, critical and analytical thinking, and proficiency in new technologies will have the opportunity to join a strong cross-functional team developing a world class solution.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design and implement both server-side logic and dynamic web-based applications.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience building complex concurrent applications using Python.
  • Up-to-date with the latest Python frameworks.
  • Experience with one or more SQL database.
  • Experience with Git and Linux.
  • Experience in WEB development languages including HTML, CSS and JavaScript – advantage.
  • Exceptional Bonus if candidate has experience in IP and/or transport networks.
  • Positive, can-do attitude, and desire to contribute in various means to team success.
  • Excellent communications skills in English (verbal and written).
