In this setup, the Sedona Systems connects to the equipment of five vendors in both IP/MPLS and Optical layers. It then follows traffic dynamics, and when congestion is simulated on one of the IP links, the system creates a new one automatically using existing optical resources and avoiding capacity upgrades.
