yossiYossi Wellingstein, CEO
A founder of Sedona Systems, Yossi has over 20 years experience in the software and telecommunications business. Yossi was a co-founder and CEO of Celltick Technologies and a member of the founding team of Barak 013 (acquired by Cellcom). Yossi holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Industrial Engineering from Technion (Israel Institute of Technology).

oriOri Gerstel, CTO
A founder of Sedona Systems, Ori was previously a Principal Engineer at Cisco, where he was responsible for driving the architecture of router-transport integration. Before joining Cisco in 2002, Ori held senior architecture positions at Tellabs and Nortel, where he architected the first mesh optical network and the first fully switched optical network, respectively. He started his work in optical networking at IBM, where the first commercial DWDM system was developed. For his contributions, Ori was awarded the grade of IEEE Fellow (2008) and OSA Fellow (2014). Ori has published approximately 100 papers in the main international conferences and journals in the field, as well as several book chapters. He holds over 35 granted patents on optical and multilayer networks, and a similar number of pending patents. He served as conference committee member and co-chair of several communication conferences and is regularly invited to teach short courses, attend panels, and give plenary talks at the main conferences of the field. He also serves as Editor in Chief for JOCN (Journal of Optical Communications and Networking) and as a steering committee member for the main conference in the field (OFC). Ori holds a PhD from Technion (Israel Institute of Technology).

GalGal Afriat, VP Products
Gal leads the Product, Support, and Sales Engineering teams at Sedona. Working closely with global service providers, Gal assists in identifying networking solutions that result in improved efficiency and resiliency, and in increased operational agility. Prior to Sedona, Gal worked as a consultant and as a member of a major governmental organization where he managed an R&D staff in charge of radio technologies. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering, BS in Physics, and BS in Biomedical Engineering, all from Technion (Israel Institute of Technology).

assaf Assaf Nitzan, VP R&D
Assaf has vast experience in managing development teams of enterprise level software products. Before joining Sedona, he led the development team of the XIV storage system in IBM. Before joining IBM in 2008, Assaf led R&D teams in a major governmental organization. Assaf holds a BA in computer science from the Open University of Israel.
